Heads up to those traveling to Tanzania.

An outbreak of the Ebola Virus has been reported in the remote northeastern provinces of North Kivu and Ituri in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

Tanzania does NOT share a border with the area of DRC affected by the outbreak, but authorities are taking all precautions. As a part of their preparedness plan, they have implemented routine screenings at entry points including Kilimanjaro airport and Dar es Salaam (Julius Nyerere) airport, for all passengers.

We expect this may cause delays - so be prepared to allow extra time for arrivals, departures, and transit.
