When I was living and working overseas, attending the Marine Corps Ball to celebrate their birthday was one of the best experiences I had. Really made you proud to be an American. The tradition of the oldest attending Marine and the youngest Marine, cutting the birthday cake with a Sabre, was really cool.

Happy Veterans Day 2025 to all past, current, and future US service members. Also, Happy Birthday to the US Marine Corps!

Happy 250th Birthday Devil Dogs!

This link is to the Commandant's Birthday Message,

In his message the Commandant and the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps express but never use the words, "Once a Marine, always a Marine". Having near three decades since I retired from active duty provided me much time to reflect on how much the Marine Corps rigid values carry me each and every day.

Perhaps no one expresses how the Marine Corps changed (un-fxxked) them better than Vice President J.D. Vance,

Finally, for those wondering why Marines are wound a little tight deep inside, this video portrays what being a Marine truely is,

Happy 250th birthday Marines.

And happy (early) Veterans Day to all those that have, and are currently serving.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
