I would bet my bottom dollar it’s BP only. Not an issue for me since I shoot a lot of Non proofed Winchesters and Colts.

If you take a closer look on the images I`ve attached, you`ll notice it says "6 drams".

Drams= blackpowder. It means Its proved for blackpowder originally.

27.5 grains per dram x 6 Drams = 165 grains of (black) powder. Most likely 2f.

Oh yeah, that's going to leave a mark. at both ends.

Today's 2F black won't give the original velocity. I use 3F Swiss and my regulation is fine in all doubles from .450 to 4-bore.
