GUN & TROPHY INSURANCE For Worldwide Insurance For Guns, Trophies & Hunts

Have to add a comment here as I’ve been shopping a new policy the last couple weeks. I bombarded Cole with several emails full of questions, what ifs, and what nots. Each subsequent e-mail led to additional questions. Through it all, he was super prompt, responsive, and informative. Ended with a very pleasant phone conversation today ironing out my final inquiries and policy needs between scheduled items and additional blanket coverage.

Luckily, I’ve not had a claim relating to a firearm in my 40-ish years of dragging guns around wild lands, so cannot give any first-hand account on how the claim process goes…hope I never can…but can say from his attention and informed answers throughout my hassling the man the past week-ish, he’s earned my business.

You are very welcome.

Gentlemen if any of you have been thinking of insuring with Gun & Trophy ins. please do so. I just switched over to them the first of the year after insuring through another company for around twenty years. A couple weeks ago I broke the stock on a double rifle and contacted them and after getting estimates then emailing them the claim was settled within two days and I had a check in the mail within a week. They were always easy to contact and very helpful and I can't thank them enough. If you're on the fence about insurance companies I highly recommend them.

Thank you very much for posting this and for the kind words. I’m sorry you had to go through the damage to your double, but I’m very glad we were able to help get everything handled quickly and smoothly.

We work hard to make sure our members can actually reach us and get real help when they need it, so your feedback means a lot.

Thank you again for your trust and for the recommendation. We sincerely appreciate it.

And thank you Cole for the consistently prompt communication and service. Twice now having to update scheduled items under my policy and Cole is on it same day, within moments.
Thank you Will & great meeting you at SCI!

Changed my insurance to work with Cole last November. Best move ever. Easy to work with and talk to and I feel like he will have my back if ever (hopefully never) needed.

Good morning Cole, you have an e-mail from me. Thank you!

Gentleman, would you please share some of the questions/concerns you had while shopping for gun insurance. Also, what made you change your mind from your previous insurance (if you had any) to Gun & Trophy Insurance? Basically, any information you would like to share, it is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

@PARA45, a couple of weeks ago I decided I wanted more coverage for my rifles than provided by just my home owners insurance, since I travel with and ship rifles fairly regularly.

My biggest concern was how much of a hassle would it be if I actually had to file a claim for a damaged rifle. When researching companies, Cole and his operation came up regularly with very positive comments.

I called him, he answered and he was willing to spend the time, right then, to discuss options and what would work best for my needs. I had a policy that covered what I needed in place within 15 minutes at what I believe was a very fair price.

As far as what questions to ask. What is covered? What are the deductibles? What is the claim procedure, if/when needed? How are rifles and optics valued for the purposes of being insured? These were the things I wanted to know. I am sure there are many more knowledgeable folks here on this topic, hopefully some of those folks will chime in as well.

I got a great peace of mind knowing my rifles and optics were properly insured.

Thank you @Fatback for your informative post.

I switched to them this year as well with Cole

Reached out to Cole yesterday. Pretty easy on all of us. When @Wildwillalaska had an issue with a shipped rifle to me and I saw that Cole responded instantly that closed the deal. Hope to never use the policy but no worries now. If you haven’t done this you should. I just never wanted the hassle but this is as streamlined as you get.

been putting off for years, just signed up and hope I never have to use it.

As an insurance agent of 27 years, I can’t recommend these guys enough. Service, rates and coverage are great and I personally know one individual who unfortunately had a claim and the claims service and payment were all you could ask for.
Great company.

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
I am again looking for 600 Nitro dies preferably RCBS 1 inch. The set I purchased previously are 1 1/2 inch and do not fit my die. Another member has graciously taken them off my hands. If anyone happens to have a set of 600 Nitro Dies that will fit my Rockchucker Supreme RCBS press, please shoot me a message and thanks in advance for any assistance you may have to offer!
I have not posted any items for sale on this forum and will not every put anything for sale. My account was hacked and I've worked with the admin to get things shut down.
