Gun Insurance With Airlines

Those of you with the SCI one. I am interested as my last trip to the Yukon, with rifle, scope, spotting scope and binos in one pelican case. I had a ton of money invested in that case. And getting it insured was a fortune and a pain in the ass. I see SCI site advertises $1.25 per $100. Which seems totally fair. On my trip to the yukon I basically carried all my spotter and binos in my pack. And took the change on the gun. Would love to pack it all in my pelican vault and not stress about it.

Do you know if it covers Canadians as well or is this a US only policy?

Have you ever had to collect?
I just got $40,000 in coverage with my new Rizzini covered to $11,000 for $179 per year and covers all my guns for damage or loss for any reason through Eastern

I use SCI but have not had a claim. Pricing is fair and their reputation is good.

And sorry are you american or Canadian ? I think eastern was only for USA. But I'll double check.

I've used www.siai.net for years, and had two claims that were handled perfectly.

I just purchased an Eastern policy. Very affordable. A $45,000 policy was $197 per year.
