Puts a new twist on “say grandpa what’s for supper”? Well kids we got, boiled taters, with a mess of greens......some mealies baked in the cast iron pot and fire burned wildebeest head just make one drool. YUM YUM!

I didn,t go over for supper, but did go later and mingle with them and shared some of my cigars

Nice Looking People, Being a Chef by trade I think maybe I'd have stopped by for at least a taste

Back in Namibia the guys make what they call "Puff Adder" out of hart, lever and kidneys from the Oryx I shot. They berbequed it and with salt and pepper It tasted real good.

I’m obviously spoiled. I can’t see stealing any of that Puff Adder for myself. Interesting twist on Haggis. (Sp)

Nothing wrong with natural sausage cases.

I'd eat that! I love heart and liver in particular.

IF they clean out the casing! I've seen their idea of cleaning meaning a little water made it to the other end. :A Banana Sad:

now you tell me, well at least I didn,t get sick. leslie.

Sometimes you're better off not to know.

Heck, none of us would eat hot dogs if we really knew what was in them. :A Ill:

They made Puff Adder my first trip, I did not partake in the meal. I had kudu on the braii instead.

I meant to quote Royal about what's in hot dogs. lol

as a young man I heard they were made with ,ears, nose, lips and the hole at the south end, but a big plate of baked beans, fried potato,s, and four foot long hot dogs and a quart of ice cold beer with a good cigar at the end seemed like heaven at times. leslie

Still love my chili dogs!

I've watched the process... It doesn't take long, doesn't require much water pressure, and the water coming out the end is not required to be clear much less clean.;)

i do deer hearts here. I stuff them with turkey stuffing(bread herbs and a few spices) and serve them with mashed potato,s, gravy and sucatash(corn-lima beans.).leslie.

I had Liver Sausage made from Whitetail and Liver Pat'e from Impala and enjoyed both
