Good day AH community!

After a very busy 2022 we are happy to offer to the AH members first this amazing experience!

As mentioned before our Rhino population is in a positive growth rate and we are regularly seeing new born claves on the ground. We would never have thought that our conservation efforts and breeding programs would be this rewarding. With that said we have a great opportunity for the AH community once again. Book with the land owner directly so that we can give you the background and first hand experience you deserve.

Details of the hunt:

This hunt will take place on our family run preserve comprising of 20,000 acres in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. Drive time is 3 and a half hours from OR Tambo International Airport.

This will be an exhilarating hunt and will test the nerve of many a hunter as you will need to be within 20 – 35 yards of the animal. The average size will between 18 and 23’’. The hunter will VITA DART the rhino with the necessary vitamins, where after a licensed veterinarian will immobilize the Rhino. Once the animal is down you will get to experience the scientific side. You will personally be involved and ask to assist in the microchipping, DNA profiling, ear notching as well as blood tests if needed for the checking of pregnancy to name a few.

All this information and data will be analyzed and used to help us make the correct decisions in increasing our genetic pool so that the species will have a fighting chance for future generations. Throughout this hunt you will be on the front line of Rhino conservation and be exposed to our legacy of Rhino survival.

The funds generated from this safari will go to new state of the art security investments like video surveillance. Our goal is to be able to install 6 video surveillance towers to assist us in our continued fight against poaching. At a cost of $2500 each we are hoping that the AH community will support us in our effort for the survival of the Rhino.

I'm going to quit procrastinating (as I seem to do) and start the report about my fantastic experience vita darting a female rhino with Dave. Definitely one of the most memorable experiences of my hunting career. Great hunt, great lodge, great outfitter. Having Spike T there made it even more memorable.

Hi Dave,
Is this just one hunt one time? I've been looking for a reasonable dart hunt.

Hi Sir,
It’s a great experience. I’m sure we can help you. Will send you a DM.
Dave

Will any of these be offered late in the year? September thru December? Thanks for your time.

We can definitely accommodate you later in the year. Please keep in mind Sept and early Oct are still pretty dry but from mid Oct the summer rains might be problematic but not impossible.

HI all, here is a Short update on our America trip, I currently in Houston and have 2 more meetings here before movings North toward Oklahoma, Missouri and Iowa, and from there I will head to Colorado and Idaho,I have been met with great hospitality and friendship, and have met several new and old clients and we are going to book the rest of 2025 season quick and have several dates booked for 2026!
That's a wrap, on our first hunt of this years season.

Hunting conditions are a bit tougher in South Africa during the month of February, but can be just as rewarding if done right.
