Need to post a price.

Along with any other details you can provide like condition, use, LOP, barrel length, weight, regulation load, production date...

A few more pictures would be nice as well.

@Anthonybigfive! As per our posting rules in the Classifieds: For sale threads must have a price listed. Also please include a bit more information regarding your double for sale, thank you.

@Anthonybigfive - With all due respect, your expectations may be a little high with an asking price of $25K on a internet forum where members usually wheel and deal a bit. Have you considered going to Gordy & Sons to have the rifle placed on consignment or possibly having an appraisal done? Great people there and they are in the Houston area.

BTW - That's a beautiful rifle and I hope you are able to find a buyer at a price you can both be happy with.

@Anthonybigfive That rifle shows very well. Certainly the best looking Searcy I've ever seen. There is stiff competition in that price range, but that rifle should sell with the buffalo season coming soon. Best of luck.................FWB

How was Bingo? Did you win anything? What kind of tacos did they have? Lol.

Really nice looking rifle. Also, since you are a brand new member, it might be a good idea to post about yourself and the rifle to help folks get to know that you are a legit seller. There have been a number of scammers as of late.

This listing goes to my previous posts on the subject. Perhaps, a new member should be required to have a few legitimate postings before listing an item for sale. And by "legitimate" I mean more than "nice rifle." Afterall this is not "Gun Broker."

I don't know about requirements. But certainly would be good form and a much better plan to start with a decent introduction post.

Then follow with more details and a hunt report if they have one to offer. If not, perhaps a post about what their goals are as to proper subject matter for this forum. Even if someone joins just planning to use the classified section to sell stuff, saying so would at least explain what their purpose is.

Then offering some sort of assurances on a sale of this size, such as offering to ship the gun to a go between person. The seller did that for me when I bought my first 470NE double;)

He sent the gun to J.J. Perodeau, I paid for an inspection, seller paid for repairs. And J.J. held the gun while my check cleared then sent it to me. Made for a comfortable transaction all around:)

as a fairly new member, if complimenting another persons rifle isn't a legitimate post.... Then I joined in with the wrong group of hunters/ riflemen
does gunbroker let you comment, or police others comments?

BTW @Anthonybigfive that looks like a very beautiful gun! Better close up photos of the engraving would be nice. I know it can be tough but play with the light and angles a bit;)
