I visit that Scheel's store almost every week. I think that rifle showed up on their preowned rack about two months ago. Side note - the gun desk manager there (Heather) told me that they usually have to have a preowned gun on their shelf for about a year before they are allowed to lower the prices on them. I would imagine there are some exceptions to that, as most retailers in general will drop prices on inventory at the 60-90 day mark on most merchandise.

That’s a damn good price on that gun already.

I’m sure the reason it hasn’t sold is the fact that it’s a lefty.

There’s only so many people that want a 416 Weatherby and then you have to have somebody who is left-handed that wants one

Spotted this on ArmsList, in the Orlando, FL vicinity. Hard to really judge the condition from the photos, but seems like a pretty good package for the price. My dad had an FN Musketeer 30-06 in his collection, and it was a nice and solid rifle.

Yeah; I think it is a very good deal, as long as the shipping charges don't kill it. It's pretty hard for me to justify a fifth 30-06 (two of which are already FN actions), but it's still kind of a tempting score. If it was local, my wallet would be in much more danger. ;-)

This is how it is with me too.
There is zero reason I should buy this gun logically.
But I see a cool gun at a great price and I just want to buy it because....it's a cool gun at a great price
