Ohh spotted this on GunBroker - the 458 win I think I posted when with Simpsons - did it sell and resell or did the vendor send it to GB ? Sorry not much clue as we in Europe buy CZ mostly !
Cabelas has a myriad of Mannlicher Schoenauers in their used gun library. I think they are priced under their values and they have them in a lot of calibers many of you would enjoy. (6.5x55 SE, 7x64, etc)

Appears a possible Great Gun Deal if my aging eyes are not deceiving...scope looks to be the coveted EE version. If accurate, then its a stellar deal even if you are not wrong-handed.

The scope looks like a Z6i EE, extended eye relief scope, which seem to command a real premium these days. Quick search in the forum classifieds and should see a couple between $3,500-$5,000. So a wrong handed person could potentially get into this Dakota 375hh for quite the deal if not interested in the scope. Solid price if they preferred to leave it on.
Half tempted to buy it myself, separate and sell them both, especially since JJ just messaged me this morning that my 500 88b is finished up with new pad and clean bill of health, so it will head my way tomorrow or Friday. Could have him take the barrelled action from the stock and fit it tetris style into my Pelican 1700. Rather see someone who needs it grab it, so at least giving a heads up.

Not sure how much of a "good deal" it is but on Saturday I saw this Win 70 Safari in .375HH on consignment at the Sportsmans Ski-Haus in Kalispell Montana. Rifle and stock are very clean. No rear sight on barrel though.

I've thought for months that this was/is a good deal IMHO. G&H would probably deal a bit. It shows newly listed but has been on GI for months previously. They spelled Jeffery wrong and it didn't show on my normal searches before. Not the longest LOP, but nice. I have a lefty 404 so not in the market.

I sure wish I could find some level of fondness for the Griffin & Howe scope mount system. I have some weird almost OCD-like aversion to it. Admit it also took me quite some time to really lean into the Holland & Holland system, but now find them quite nice as well as effective....just still wince at the sight of the Griffin & Howe version.
That said, I do really like the grip cap they made on that 404 Jeffery...pleasantly distracts from the mounts to a degree. Looks like a fine rifle.

Only 2 hours left so looks like it’ll get away from me since I’m at work and can’t deal with this right now. Someone’s gonna get a nice gun for cheap, I love those stainless M70’s, in almost any chambering

A great price ! Last one I bought in 2021 to build a B&M rifle was $700.
Problem with having a B&M Rifle built now SSK will not do the work. I had one of the last rifles built by SSK and it was a adventure getting it done.

Made it to Augusta Georgia yesterday for a meeting, hunt bookings are looking good for 2026 and 2027, had a great time on our Alabama safari shot a rutting deer at 200 yards with 7mm PRC near Huntsville and then headed on to Butler Alabama and semi guided my first deer ever shot a very nice broken off 8 point with hunter there and spend a few days on 1100 acres hunting preserve awesome place!
