If it’s 2,000 EUR that’s a great price. I wonder how much all the paperwork and shipping are? If I hadn’t just ordered a 9.3x62 custom…I would consider this. Nice idea for the future though. Thanks!

I was surfing around & saw a Sako AV Mannlicher chambered in 416 Rem Mag. It had a starting price of $1,195 with a Buy It Now of $1,495. From the closeup photos, it looked like it was in really good shape. As a leftie, it was of no use to me. But because it was a configuration I hadn't seen before, I decided to share it in case it was a combination that appealed to someone else. I doubt that many were made.

Even though it's a rechambering, I'm tempted simply because I've always been interested in a bigger bore in a stutzen/full length stock and I love Sakos. It's not particularly practical, and there's a risk the rechambering work wasn't done well (I'm not too confident based on the wonky stamp on the barrel), so I'll probably pass. But I'll be interested to hear how it looks/feeds/functions if someone takes the leap.

I bid on a bunch of things from this sale. I only ended up getting a stock blank though.

I thought the prices were dang good, I just couldn’t justify any of them right now.

Was that gentleman a member here? Judging by the rifles and trophies, he had excellent taste.

I asked the seller, almost a year ago before I ordered my incoming custom rifle. He got back to me last week and said it was 2000 euros and that it was still for sale even though I asked about it so long ago.

Admittedly my french is sub-par, but I think I interpreted it correctly:

I also thought it was cheap, but since I very much doubt I would be able to get a licence for it since I have allready applied for my incoming .375 H&H I decided to pass on the oppurtunity.

Sweden has quite hard rules about weapons licences.

That is a steal, for magnum actioned 416 Rigby, Dumoulin rifle with an optic installed. I think I need to send this to my brother!

I missed the previous sale from this estate. Had a Griffen & Howe 404 and a HoffmanArms 10.75x68. The latter went for around $1850.
