They posses huge claws that can rip you open from top to bottom with one kick....
Had this male ostrich been breeding(indicated by bright red coloring on the front of legs) he could well have been hospitalized or killed....
Never stand up when in this situation rather lay flat on the ground, climb a tree or GET IN THE BAKKIE.....
