I am original owner, not sure when I bought this but maybe before 2010?
Only out of the box for photos & to Tim at Matrix for beefing up
with crossbolt, brass grip pin, 0.75x4" Mercury Tube in the butt.
I had a AHR 3 pos safety sitting at Tim's and I guess this got onto it
and he spiffed it up with bolt, follower with jeweling (I prefer plain, but you know Timothy:)
and filled, straighten the bolt handle.
Price is $3848, buyer pays shipping, insurance, maybe around $160.
For rifles sales, I go thru Matrix.
Thanks for looking
Steve

Very nice! I can vouch for the seller. Very easy to work with and a pleasure to do business with.

WHY hasn't anyone scarfed this up yet?

These rifles, especially one in great shape like this one, are getting scarce. I have 6 CZ-550's, so not in the market for one, but if it hangs around here for a few weeks, I may change my mind.

Dude, this is absolutely cool. While I already have ammo and dies, I sadly have not finished the home remodel I need to complete to be in the market. I wish it was June. /sigh/

Any ammo, dies, scope rings, etc. to sweeten the deal?

Barrel marked "458 LOTT/" above that, original Win Mag marking left on as it can be fired in a Lott chamber

for pricing, is used GI and GB (which was not much use), threw out the highest on GI ($4900!!!), all 2nd hand, most not used, some dings, no boxes or paper work. Then took the average, $2883, parts were $344. Then added $350 as original owner and NIB (maybe i should keep the box and papers:), then heavily discounted Tim's labor. For those that do not know Tim, at Matrix, he is a master at working on CZs. I bet he has done at least 100's, over the last 5 years (Wayne at AHR selected Tim to take over the AHR CZ gunsmithing).
Hopefully, someone will need and appreciate this rifle. But, if do not need the power of the Lott, can always use the 458 winmag, which is a great DG cartridge in its own right.
Let me know if need more pics or info. Thanks
Steve

You'll never find another one in new condition that's been worked on by the best CZ Gunsmiths at this price ever again. ;)

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
