That's what I thought. Just checking. Btw, if you wear a backpack while hunting, the flip up cover on the eyepiece lens cap is the first to get ripped off. Trust me. I use a rubberband style lens cover now.

I agree with your comments. We did create an open understanding of the situation with our public and private communications. There is risk when you send money off to someone online, with or without a history of contributing to discussions, and a few documented transactions. Relationships are established online and it is a quite satisfying outcome when the trusts are reciprocated, and one's intuition is confirmed. The flip side is devastating both emotionally and financially. Amazingly, commerce seems to work exceptionally well, and it feels good.

How do/can we know if chickenfarmers is lurking here as a new member under a different screen name? Actually, the problem at the time of his scam. he WASN'T a new member and had been on here for a several years. He didn't seem to be active though until about a month before his scam. That's why this confirmed "seller/buyer" list is important.

the best way is to have AH upgrade their authentication to use a verified identity service like FB or Google. Not perfect, but better because the ID maps back to a real human. Thieves and fraudsters generally don’t want you to figure out who they are.
