I went to the SHOT Show a number of years ago with Larry Harley who designed the Battle Bowie. He was an interesting character and I say that in the best way. He told me stories of guiding hunts for hogs in South Carolina. It would be you, the dogs, and this knife against the hog. He swore you could drop a hog quicker with one good thrust of this knife than with a .44 Mag pistol.

Sadly, he passed away a few years ago. He was truly a master bladesmith.

I've only hog hunted with dogs once, but I was amazed at how fast they expire after you stick the right place
