Flying to West Africa

Hi guys,

We are considering a trip to either Burkina Faso or Benin down the track and have a couple of questions about flying there...

Have people flown Etihad Airlines, Turkish Airways, Air France or KLM with firearms and ammunition?

Has anyone transited through Abu Dhabi, Casablanca, Guangzhou or Paris?

Many folks have Paris with firearms. I have transited Paris and Guangzhou without firearms. I would not even attempt to transit Guangzhou with a firearm, it's hard enough without one. The airport is modern and up to date, but the employees speak little english to no english.

I have flown to Benin on Air France. Also used them to Cameroon. Never had an issue with firearms with Air France or Paris. They just needed the number of firearms and dimensions of the case(s) 72 hours or so in advance.
