Flying into CPT for first time instead of JNB. Anything I should know?

Interested if there is any meaningful difference in firearms process or anything else I should know. TIA

If you’re flying on Airlink you need your guns preapproved 3 days before you fly.

I flew from Kimberley to CPT, then CPT-DFW a few days later last year.

Remember it being much more difficult to find where to go to claim your firearm in CPT. Checking in with my rifle was easy though.

Cape Town is a lovely airport. Very easy security. I did have a knife stolen out of my checked luggage, so bury valuables deep and travel with a lock.
