First time Safari with Family

Any nonfamily friendly outfitters out there?

Like, we hunt hard and party harder!
Just a bunch of vuil coke and hookers?
Just kidding!

No seriously, hit me up!

J/k!

Hello everyone,

I’m new to the forum and to the world of safaris. I'm a lifelong hunter from Montana, and I’m planning to take my family of four (with kids aged 14 and 12) on a trip that includes hunting, sightseeing, and experiencing local culture. We’re mostly interested in hunting plains game.

I would appreciate any feedback on which countries to visit and recommendations for outfitters. I have the opportunity to purchase a safari package with Theron Safaris, who seem great and reputable. However, my only concern is that the hunt is being arranged through Charity Safaris, and I recently came across some concerning information about the manager there.

I’m not wealthy, so the price point is what initially attracted me, but I want to ensure that we have a fantastic experience as a family. Thank you for any advice you can offer!
Good day Sir

Please have a look at my website www.divansafaris.com. We hunt and operate in Namibia. We are a bespoke hunting operation for both plains game and dangerous game in Namibia together with stunning sightseeing tours across Namibia for the family.

Looking forward hearing from you.

Yours truly

I think you would like Namibia. The guy I use there is Game Ranch Transvall. He offers tours of a rhino conservancy, tours of Etosha National Park, and has great plains game hunting with very reasonable prices.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
