Fall 2015 Alaska Peninsula Brown Bear Hunt

I do want to say one more thing......when I decided to offer this hunt with a trophy fee I was attempting to create an opportunity for someone, not sell a hunt or fill a slot. I guide in Alaska because that's what I love to do. It was never about the money......can't be. What was it worth to me to have a sheep hunter shed tears upon taking his hard earned ram ?? Priceless ! Bear hunts on the Peninsula are expensive to run and if you do the research you know that already. My goal was not to create a whole new set of concerns by offering this on a trophy fee basis. The other option is a $12,000.00 hunt fee, 10 + days, $1,200.00 bush flight with hunter responsible for getting to Illiamna. Maybe that would be more simple.

I want to thank all those who showed an interert in this hunt. My intention was to create an opportunity for someone who couldn't quite afford a full priced hunt and at the same time would appreciate a great Alaskan adventure.....and a trip to the taxidermist. I found such a person and this hunt has been taken. Stay tuned for photos of what I expect to be a great hunt !
