Excellent Gloss Tasco Euro-Class 3-9x40

I picked up this Tasco Euro-Class 3-9x44 scope with a rifle I bought, and I don’t have a use for it. It’s a well-made Japanese scope from Asia Optical, likely from 1997? It’s in very good condition with clear optics and smooth adjustments. Looking for help to value it and open to offers. Let me know if you’re interested or have any insight.

Is it actually marked "Made in Japan" (or with a "3" inside an oval)? These are actually pretty well made scopes with quality Japanese glass from Hakko/Asia Optical. I would be as happy with it as a Vortex. Later production shifted to Taiwan and they do not have nearly as good a reputation. If Japanese and in nearly new shape, they will go for as much as $250 - maybe a tad more at a gunshow. You will see them offered online for as much as $350 or so, but I wonder how many of those actually sell. If Taiwanese, good luck.
