Europe & USA to JRO (Kilimanjaro International) Tanzania

Exploring flights into JRO from Europe and or USA ? Any members have recent flight experiences/ recommendations ? I am looking into August/September 2019. How far in advance do you normally book your African flights? The cities and countries with the best options coming up on my preliminary searches in order so far are Frankfurt ,Germany -Amsterdam ,Netherlands - London (Heathrow, Gatwick). I will be departing from Nevada, but can easily start from any city in the US. I have flown into Frankfurt, Germany and Heathrow in the past but this trip we will be traveling with our rifles.

Quite a few years ago but had someone hunting northern tanzania and was with them and we flew from UK to Amsterdam then onto kilimanjaro airport ..they did leave his bag on the stand next to the plane though and we could see it as we taxied to take of....but they did charter a plane to bring it to the hunting area..........
