Dugga boy hunt video

This was a short cut from the video I had made back in September 2018. Hunting proper small groups of Dugga boys in thick cover with Buzz Charlton in Nyakasanga Safari Area Zimbabwe.

Great video. Great buff. Planning my own hunt now and it was very helpful to see a boots on ground view, and how these colossal animals can nearly disappear in the brush. thanks

For sure! The first day we followed three Dugga boys tracks into real thick Jess. I envisioned they’d stick out and be jet black. But when we stopped and I caught a quick glance before they busted away I learnt how whiteish and dust coloured their skin was underneath. They blended in very good!!!

It was a Winchester model 70 .375 H&H, it was a camp rifle. I had my choice of it or a blaser but the Winchester fit me very good.

Was shooting older Barnes TSX .300gr

Thanks for sharing. Very proper buffalo done the right way. Quick question, that is a very unique ammo belt you have. I really like the covered portion and then the two for quick access and reload. I have never seen one like that who makes it? Congrats.

Thanks. I had wanted to buy some of the nicer ones you see online. But with a short time till I was going I decided to use a custom leather man I knew. He made me a nice belt and ammo pouch.

Somehow I came up with the idea, I wanted some covered but also a couple for quick grab. Also you can fold the covered flap backwards and have access to all the shells. It holds 5 375hh in the flap and the two outside.

Very very happy with it. And I’ll be doing something similar when I get a double rifle.
