Hey all,
My good buddy @Clayton who is a rimfire aficionado was kind enough to loan me his Pacific Tool and Gauge drilling fixture that enables you to drill a 1/4” hole in the rear of your 10/22 receivers. The purpose is to allow you to clean the rifle from the breach end rather than through the muzzle and possibly damage your crown. The only other way to do this is removal of the barrel or use a bore snake. Removing the barrel is a pain in the butt and a bore snake is no substitute for a real barrel cleaning.
Thought y’all might find this simple fixture a cool idea.

First mask the side of the receiver to avoid any damage.

Next install the fixture, bolts go through the holes that pin your trigger group to the receiver.

Drill with a F sized bit through the fixtures bit guide.

Problem solved!

Thanks @Clayton for a simple fix to an old problem!

I did 5 10/22’s in a couple hours and that included cleaning them.

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
Ross
