If you use normal Buckshot consider this alternative.

Tri-ball has 3-.600" hard alloy cast round balls/buckshot.The three balls/buckshot will pattern 3 1/2" (center to center) at 25 yards and still be well within the kill zone at 40 yards or beyond, depending on the choke.

Dixie Tri-ball II (12 ga 3") and Tri-Ball III (3 1/2") are hardened .60 caliber balls, 315 grains each

The velocity Of Tri-Ball II is 1050'/" and Tri-ball III is 1150'/" (both from 20" barrels).

Before anyone asks, I am not nor have I ever been connected with or affiliated with Dixie Slugs; feel free to contact them. My name is Rocky Latham and I am just an avid shotgun slugger that is an AVID admirer of their products! I believe in supporting people and products I believe in so that they thrive and hopefully the price per unit goes down for all of us. Tell them I sent you as it is fine with me. I have emailed them and thanked them for their great products! We as hunters and shooters in this political climate must support small businesses if they are to survive and thrive!
