• 4 days of hunting, morning and evening (max 8 hunting outs, 1:1)

• Extra animals available • roebuck at 550 euros • fallow stag up to 3 kg price 1650 euros, above 3 kg plus 30 euros/10 grams • wild boar female and male up to 16 cm price 500 euros, male 16-20 cm price is 800 euros, over 20 cm price is 1000 euros
• Rental of the firearm at 50 euros per day if necessary ( Blaser R8, Swarovski are available)
• Cancellation, evacuation and repatriation insurance

• Wounded and not recovered we consider the stag hunted.

  The arrival airport is Cluj-Napoca (CLJ), the transfer is about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  Success rate of the hunt is very high, the hunter require a medium physical condition.

The best time for this hunt is rut. That means 15.09 until end of September.

Weight of the antler is given by the minerals, food quality, and genes of course. Most of the stags that we hunted there are mature stags, not young ones. First 2 stags are around 7.5kg. And last are 5,5-6.5. In the last year average was 7kg. The hunt will be in the rut, so we will hunt active stags. Not young boys.

Yes, are about 30 days when red stag and roebuck can be hunted in the same time. From 15 of September until 15 of October. To all my red-stag hunting offers I added the roebuck for extra animals.

Hello, In September we can hunt only quails and doves close to red stag area.
To bring a hunting gun from USA is very easy. You need a hunting invitation letter. We will do this invitation letter based on copy of your passport, gun license, and hunting license.

Hi, I have hunted in Bulgaria, for fallow deer, wild boar and mouflon, but there I saw that red stags were huge in body size, I believe the Romanians stags are about the same, is that so? When I was in the Rodhope mountains, I was told that the mountain stags have lighter antlers than Danube valley stags, is that true? Not that it matters much, I saw some footage of stag hunting in the carpathian mountains and they all seem really good trophies, I was wandering more about the body size, some taxidermy mounts I saw in Bulgaria were huge in body size.

Luis, your observations are correct. Weight of the antlers is about the food. In the mountains the stags will not find the same quality food like in the plain areas, where they have access to agricultural fields, and winters are not that heavy. All the Carpathian red stags have a huge body. Why is very excited and challenging to hunt them? Because of predators they are very agile, always in alert, males are not very active in daylight and they don’t leave the tick forest.
Sometime you need to work hard to have the shooting position.

Thanks for the feedback, so soon I will not be able to go on this hunt, but I advise anyone who can, to do it, I would, one last question, is it true that a real wild stag has less points than farmed stags? That is something I was told, I do not know if I´m correct or not.

Farmed stags have a genetic structure made in some laboratory. They combined the genes from wild stags to get the bigger sizes in a short time. From what I heard are 2 countries in Europe where they have labs and they are selling the stags to some fenced areas. In my country such a stag will not be able to survive in wilderness. The predators will kill him in few days.
