Our Exotic Wood Furniture items are either made by us or selected from the very best items we see. Both are then rigorously evaluated to ensure they will provide years of enjoyment. We offer two different lines of furniture.

1) The first line of furniture is made exclusively from solid Rhodesian Teak. Rhodesian Teak has a reputation for being one of the most beautiful and durable exotic woods in the world. Over a century ago Rhodesian Teak railroad ties were laid in what is today called Zimbabwe and many streches of that same railroad are still using those same ties today. This stunning line of exceptionally crafted furniture includes the following best sellers but if you have a particular piece on your wish list please give us a call as other items can be made.

a. A beautifully crafted bar
b. Pub stools
c. Pub tables
d. High back bar chairs
e. Floor Stand for canes and/or spears
f. Warthog or Hippo Ivory Single Gun Tusk Racks

2) The second line is made by a master cabinet maker from a variety of stunning solid exotic woods such as African Iroko, Andiroba and Jarrah that includes:

a. Study tables that are approximately 4'long and 3' wide
b. Four shelf (includes the fixed bottom one) bookcases
c. Coat/Hat racks that combine Warthog tusks and Springbok horns
d. Warthog or Hippo Ivory Tusks in one or two gun configurations in the species mentioned above plus Zebrawood and African Bubinga.

Rhodesian Teak Cane/Spear Stand
spear_rack.jpg

Rhodesian Teak has a worldwide reputation as one of the most striking exotic woods available and is the perfect wood to complement the African spears, canes and shields we offer. We decided to offer these beautifully made stands after our customers requested a way to display the items they purchased from us in an organized and stunning manner.

The rich reddish brown base is laced with stripes that range in color from light brown to black. Polishing this extremely dense wood provides it with a stunning satin glow. This beautiful piece is very stable due to its’ custom designed thick, heavy base so you do not have to worry about it tipping over even if you load it up with long, heavy spears. The scale of this piece works equally well with spears, canes or a combination of the two.

These stands are 28” tall, 15” across the top and bottom with a 3” thick base. The top has eight round holes in it that are 1 ½” across (about the size of a half dollar) that line up with ½” deep recessed circular areas in the base so that the spear or cane will stay put. For an even more interesting display, we suggest securing a shield from one of the four support beams, preferably one that is small in scale as shown in the picture.

These stands ship broken down and take about 15 minutes to put together with eight exposed, bronze colored, hex head screws. These are the perfect addition to your cane or spear collection and display them in a very appealing fashion that offers the convenience of easy access while holding them securely. Order a set of our Big Five Canes, a warthog cane, a knobkerrie cane and one of our walking staffs and you have a striking conversation piece.

Warthog Tusk Sword Cane
scrimshaw-canes.jpg

A retired Rhodesian precison machinist makes these for us and his tremendous skill comes through in every one of these unique pieces. The Sword Cane is approximately 36” overall. It features exceptional fit and finish and has a concealed trigger mechanism that you simply pull towards you to release the blade. A matching exotic wood spacer conceals the trigger. The spacer is consistent with the other design elements, so only you will know it is there. The three edged, stainless steel, 12” long circular push dagger has a razor sharp tip.

The rest of the Sword Cane is identical to our Scrimshawed “Big Five” cane. The handle is a hand polished, trophy sized warthog tusk that flows into the shaft for a flawless and attractive transition. The tusk has a shallow, flat cut made along one side. This flat surface is scrimshawed with a very detailed image depicting all of the African “Big Five”. The hand turned, exotic wood shaft incorporates several decorative elements and features a very beautiful and substantial piece of exotic wood that darkens with age. These beautiful pieces exhibit flawless workmanship and the scrimshaw work is excellent.

Exotic Wood: Rhodesian Teak- recognized worldwide as one of the most beautiful and durable exotic woods. A light toned, red wood that can have black stripes running through it for a stunning look. The same wood they used to lay the railroad from Cape Town to Salisbury (Harrare) over 100 years ago.

These canes afford you extra protection if you encounter any four or two legged vermin. Order yours today and start enjoying the outstanding artisanship built into every one.

How about an idea of cost for what you have shown.

Please go to the site for description of each and cost. Click on spear thumbnail on bottom of home page. Some of the spears and almost all of the shields are sold but we have recieved a few new ones since the catalog went to print.

Until this guy posts something on pay it forward free I would avoid him at all costs.

If it hasn't sold by next week I might be interested. Stock would have to be changed along with some other items. I'm already having a 416 Rigby built so money is a tad bit tight.

Hey pal! I'll take all the .375 bullets if they're available.
Thanks!
