Dangerous Situation of Sorts ;)

(Now some of your spouses hunt, so this isn’t for y’all).

So you want to go hunting in Africa or somewhere for a week or two…what do you do with your wife or how do you convince her it’s ok for you to go? Bonus points if you have a way to convince your spouse and she is happy that your going! (So far I am considering taking up snoring… :)

Now I know folks will say bring her along and she can do a photo safari…which is great and will work once, what about the 2nd or 3rd time? :)
I think the problem you are talking about is effectively solved by a Louis Vuitton bag

Laughed so hard. It is so true. Not kidding this is the standard reply from my wife. Even funnier I never bought one.

I’m getting married in May but have lived with my fiancé since 2019.

I may be different but it is never an issue for us. If she wants to go somewhere she does. If I want to go I do. She does several beach trips with her girlfriends every year. Just lets me know when she’s going to be gone. I do the same with hunting. I just tell her when I’m going and how to reach me. I bought a garmin where I can share my location so she knows where I am.

It probably helps that we were friends for several years before we started dating and she knew that I disappeared on long hunting trips. It was part of the package with me.

In choosing a partner it was important to me that neither of us ever feel the need to ask permission for anything we do.
I hope your right.
And I hope nothing changes.

But after the paperwork is done a lot of the Change the way that they act. And Change what they (aloe) or expect

I’m glad yall were still able to have a great trip! It sounds like a great success, aside from a short chapter that was put to rest pretty fast.
Well Carson you are quoting two seperate trips that took place 3 years apart. But yes both were great successes.

The Tanzania trip was preceded by 8 days on Zanzibar which we both enjoyed immensely. I highly recommend it for anyone who's wife enjoys beaches, shopping and touring around a Spice Island.

The trip with her father was started with a trip to Victoria Falls staying at yhe Victoria Falls Hotel and included the helicopter Flight of Angels over the Falls, a side trip to Chobe National Park, High Tea and Native Dancers during Dinner, and shopping for local art. I highly recommend that all as well ;)

Yes, I was reading through catching up, I hit reply, and realized it was the wrong post. I backed out of the page, quoted the proper post, replied, then I realized it replied to both posts. I’m rather challenged when it comes to technology so forgive my errors.

I tried to get my wife to go. She was a professional photographer but still wanted no part of Africa. But, she was more than OK with me going. I would still like for her to experience the place.

Phillip I was reviewing some of the auctions online and saw your Nubian Ibex hunt coming up this weekend. It also showed you have Addax and Axis deer. Is there a website I can go to and see the lodge, cost of animals and what is available? Thanks Mark

I really like that knife you're selling. It looks so similar to my original 1306 that has been around a long time. I can't spend that much but if you get to a point where you'd entertain offers let me know. Thx, James
