(April 23, 2020 - DALLAS) -- Today, Weatherby Foundation International and DSC announce their 10-year agreement, beginning Wednesday, January 6, 2021, to host the Weatherby Foundation International Hunting and Conservation Award Dinner and presentation of the Weatherby Big Game Hunting and Conservation Award at the Omni Dallas Hotel in Dallas, Texas, on the Wednesday night before the opening day of DSC's annual Convention and Sporting Expo.
DSC's Executive Director Corey Mason said, "DSC is proud to continue our strong relationship with the Weatherby Foundation International. Weatherby Foundation's focus on conservation, ethics and education aligns perfectly with the mission of DSC. Further, opening DSC's Convention with Weatherby's Gala Dinner sets a distinguished and exciting tone for the entire week."
Weatherby Foundation President Ricardo Longoria said, "Weatherby and DSC's relationship has been highly productive and mutually beneficial, allowing for both of our organizations to further our shared focus on conservation, ethics and education. We look forward to continuing this relationship, and increasing the impact of Weatherby's mission 'To educate youth and the non-hunting public on the beneficial role of ethical sport hunting and its contribution to wildlife conservation, and to protect our constitutional right to do so.'"
