Anyone know what happened to the CZ 416s on Gunbroker ? They are all gone at the same time. Yeh, they were bought but who buys 14/16 at one time.

I have no idea what happened but I figured that this was coming given that CZ has stopped production.

Someone looking to cash in on the fact that CZ quit production of the 550.
Seeing as the 416RIGBY is one of the most popular African calibers...
Could be a pretty smart play.

Have you seen how prices of the Safari Action CZ550's have skyrocketed?

Investment gamble would be my guess.

Up here in Canada they don't seem all that hard to come by yet. Earlier this year i had the 458 itch and one phone call scratched it. A week later i had it in hand. Last week i decided to go for a brand new American Safari in 416Rigby. Again one phone call and i had it in hand yesterday. I still have a 416 from the 90s that i have a B&C stock coming for. I'm thinking, just for the pure joy of it, that i may have it rechambered to 450. Depends on disposable funds.

Earle,
Been thinking about a -450 myself".....If you do let us know how it goes/went. No shortage of case cap there.
Good luck if you do

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
Ross
