How are these for noise?

They are the quietest ones on the market. The most unnatural sound in nature is generated by metal. If you think about most of the shooting sticks out there they have metal bottoms which make noise when coming into contact with rocks and the shafts are hollow tubes that make a fair amount of noise when they hit something or rattle together. We pencil sharpen the wood bottoms of ours to avoid the first and put noise suppression bumpers on the connectors to keep them quiet. Keep in mind that the connectors are the same diameter as the wood shafts and since that is where you grasp them when walking they are already muffled by your hand.

I do like the idea of wooden sticks. Makes a lot of sense noise wise.

They are over-engineered for their intended purpose. We set out to craft the best and priced them accordingly. In talking to our customers they already "bought" a pair or two by replacing cheap imports every year or two over a decade before they invested in a set from us.
