Remington 700 30/06 Ackley Improved, Comes with a fiberglass stock (not one of the tuperware plastic ones) not sure who manufactured it as it was on the rifle when I picked it up from an estate along with several others. Comes with the correct Redding sizing die for the round. I don't much like REM 700 but it is a shooter but it has been sitting in the safe for a couple years so time to go to someone that will shoot it or use the action and stock for a build. $450 delivered to your FFL

Savage 110, has a new 7x57 McGowen matted stainless barrel, I have shot 3 boxes of round through the tube and it is accurate and I will also include the 35 Whelen barrel that was on it when it came from a shop that was closing. $450 delivered to your FFL.

Dude - you are killing me! Can't you just adopt me or something?

I wanted many of your treasures, but just don't have the $ to take advantage of great values!

They will go fast!

Good, I stressed over the savage for the last couple days. The barrel alone was worth nearly the asking price.
Good sale

What is on the recoil pad? Remington? The stock looks like a B&C or their version of the H.S. P.

The butt pad has Remington on it .

@AZDAVE
Why can't you be in Australia. Just my luck when the ship comes in I'm at the bloody airport. I would have been on that savage quicker than a seagull on a hot chip.

Yeah, and if your were able to buy the Remington, you could have the barrel rebored to .35 and have a .35 Whelen AI? It’s a shame you can’t have a bolt action rifle shipped to your FFL equivalent in OZ? It’s not a semi auto or handgun, so what would the authorities be concerned about?

@CoElkHunter
I wouldn't even contemplate buying a Remington, to much work to get them to shoot.

Remage barrel system? Would you happen to have their website? Thanks!

Looks like the factory Rem black plastic stock made by their master, DuPont. (Unc & Aunt used to work there in DE and PA.) They made the Nylon 66 stocks at a plant near a fam farm in PA. If I could, I'd have Rem return riflemaking to the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Eddystone, PA, where Baldwin made very fine shooting rifles on the Enfield-style Mauser actions before he sold out to the mass-producer S. of the border (Rem during wartime.) Rem did continue and their original bolts were wonderful (out of the box!) If you want the best modern Rem, order a Dakota rifle (as they were gobbled up by Rem.)

Is the Rem receiver/bbl coated stainless? Typ the plastic stocked Rems have SS metal (like the floorplate and trigger guard.)

@CoElkHunter
It's the Remington with a savage barrel system lock nut. It's an attempt to make a Remington half as accurate as the savage..
Bob
"Ravage?" LOL Ravager? Savington? this could be fun...I'll take the 700-110 for $500, Alex!
