Good day everyone

My dad gave me his .303 which he got from my grandfather and after I studied it a bit, I saw that it was made by Cogswell & Harrison in 1940. I don't know a lot about their history but this model apparently are the last sporter imported from London to South Africa back in the day. I was wondering if anyone can help me with some history around this rifle and what it might be worth if any?

I would be interested in it if you pass. Please send me the info on the gun shop if you do not buy it. I have the needed ammo and brass.
Thanks,
Ross
