It is doubtful if you'll find an outfit as capable of offering the depth of operation and experience such as we do - WHEN IT COMES TO HOUND WORK.

We have four dedicated predator teams each with their own experienced handler equipped with current state of the art tracking equipment and communication systems.

We also have a dedicated team of hounds for bushpig hunting.

Our hunt area is totally free range 200 000 hectares South of the Winterberg comprising of the adjacent Baviaans River and Mankazana Valley conservancies. The area is teaming with endemic free range game species. The hunting area is a treasure of natural wonders offering picturesque views of mountains and valleys , bushveld , riverine thickets and natural forests with plenty flowing streams.

We focus on the hunting experience and our lodging is modest but comfortable in a historic colonial homestead ( Whytebank ) set in a beautiful valley in the Mankazana Conservancy near Adelaide.

Our attraction is that we are an outfit that has their own hounds and do not have to sub-contract outside hound teams which push up costs and uncertainty of availability of a hound team. Our hounds are at home within the two conservancies and are not available to hunt out - they are permanently in place for you.

My life has been dedicated to hounds and my son Simon is following in my footsteps at 18 years of age.

MY HUNT OFFER IS FOR TWO HUNTERS @ US$ 5400.00 each. 10 HUNTING DAYS.

Included are the following :

1 CARACAL / LYNX over hounds with the backup option of predator calling at night.
1 Bushpig over hounds with the backup option of baited hunt at night.

Airport pick up and return in Port Elizabeth.

PH / Guide , Hound team handlers , hound teams , skinners , hunting vehicle.

Baiting and predator calling and related equipment.

Accomodation in colonial homestead , all meals , soft drinks , daily laundry.

Provincial hunting licence.

Excluded :

Flight and any expenses incurred by you prior to hunt and after termination of hunt.

Dip and pack and shipment of trophies or any taxidermy.

OUR HUNTING SEASON IS YEAR ROUND with restriction only on KUDU.
BEST MONTHS FOR HOUNDS - JANUARY through to end JUNE. BUT WE HUNT YEAR ROUND REGARDLESS.

Yes sir except it will not be 2x1 it will be 1 client 1 PH @ US$ 400.00 per day for ten days. The Caracal and Bushpig cost US$ 700.00 each = US$ 5400.00 per hunter. The add on plains game has been discounted quite a bit as well. Reason being is unlike a lot of cases we do not have leave our area to find game , its all there. What we are offering here is in house , the client will not be losing 3 to 4 hours per day just getting to a hunting area in a 4x4 pickup before he can hunt , an all to common fact with SA hunting. There is a saving to be considered as the hounds are in house as well , they are not hired from outside as would be the case with the majority of outfits anywhere in South Africa. The hound teams will be entirely at your disposal 24/7 for 10 days. In fact there would be minimum 2 hound teams per paying client which significantly ups chances of success. Quite a neat deal even if I have to say it myself. Try match that offer under one umbrella.

Yes friends and if you have not yet worked it out for yourselves each hunter has a double chance of cracking a cat in the ten days because he will have two separate teams of hounds devoted to his search ( in effect 20 days / chances ) of success per hunter plus predator calling. That's about as square a deal as you'll likely find anywhere. You will actively participate on the hunts and enjoy the luxury of being in the heart of the domain of all the other listed species with the benefit of the hounds taking you into those far off nooks and crannies hunters seldom see - that's where we discover a lot of the old trophies of the other species hanging out. What a bonus and advantage !!

Thriller yes of course - hell you could hog tie them too if you pleased and take them home as hand luggage ! Lol !! Yes mate , we caught plenty alive by hand for live sale , so simply put , a knife or spear is a goal you can achieve - but not without risk.

Haha , yes for sure Edward I'm with you on that. The rodeo stuff is for the younger crowd like my son. I've used my old 1911 and my Ruger Redhawk cut down barrel 44 mag for close work on hogs. Nice laying prone right in front of a warthog hole and wait for the terriers to bolt him out for you - all dust and gunsmoke and close.
