It is. Jacques is a very good friend of mine. He's made me a lot of items over the years and I send him items that he collects. This was an idea I had and he made it come to fruition. I'll be spending some time with him when I'm in SA in April.

I hate carrying ammo in the factory boxes in my pack or otherwise. The cardboard gets all beat up and the shells eventually wind up all over the place. I’ve tried the various plastic boxes and I hate the way they rattle and make racket when moving gather pack around.

If I’m not flying I’ll just carry them in this. If I am flying I’ll bring this empty and transfer them to this for the hint then back to the proper boxes to fly home.

If anyone is interested, I’ve decided to let go of a couple more of my large caliber ammo pouches that I’ve not used, like the one above. They’re all brand new and in Cape Buffalo hide. Some have the medallion and some are plain. I have one that’s stamped for 450 Rigby and the others will accommodate up to a 500 NE.
