Can anyone identify RSA air carriers that are transporting firearms. South Africa Airline may be going bankrupt and I have been advised that British Airways will not transport firearms. My hunt is booked for 2021 with my U.S. to Johannesburg flight on Delta, final destination is Port Elizabeth.

SA Airlink carries firearms from JHB to Port Elizabeth.

I concur with Marius. We are currently recommending Airlink to our clients from Johannesburg (JNB) to East London (ELS).

In addition:
SAA is still transporting firearms on the domestic routes they still serve.
Mango Air is reportedly in the process of getting licensed to transport firearms but do not do it at this time.

Their subsidiaries/partners within RSA do not transport firearms.

Comair that does business as BA in Southern Africa was filed for RSA version of Bankruptcy.

Airlink is really your only choice.
