Dates:
August 14 - Arrive in Dar es Salam, overnight
August 15 - Arrive in camp with shared air transfer
August 16 to 25 - hunting
August 26 - road transfer out

Round Trip Camp Transfer = 2,000 (private air in and out on the mentioned dates)

7 day buffalo hunt in Rungwa Game Reserve Tanzania.

Dates:
June 29 - arrive Tanzania at JRO int airport
June 30 - flight to Ruaha NP on schedule flight and then road transfer to Camp
July 1 to 7 - hunting buffalo
July 8 - private air charter out of camp

Cost:
Daily Rate = 6,300
Licenses = 2,700

Buffalo Trophy Fee = 2,750

Total Hunt and Buffalo Trophy Fee = 13,000

Round Trip Camp Transfer = 1,750 (air + road in / air out)

yes there is plains game available:
impala
Niassa Wildebeest
Lichtenstiens Hartebeest
warthog
baboon
duiker
with the 2nd buffalo option as well.

These are the standard animals on a 10 day buffalo license...now to complicate the issue in a good way:
I have an extra croc and a leopard on quota (as well as other PG).
This hunt can be upgraded to take Leopard, Croc, ect on a success/kill basis removing financial risk from the hunter.
There are many permutations on how I can structure this and it does take a conversation with the hunter and then emails from my side to confirm details - but it can work so please anyone who is serious about a great hunt please talk to me.

We can hunt those in Maasailand (I think I ran that special a while back), we take those animals all the time in that area...

Unfortunately you can't hunt Sable on a 10 day license in Tanzania

I have good sable in 3 of our 5 areas.
You will have to upgrade your license at a cost of approximately 3,500 from the standard 10 day buffalo license. Then you can legally hunt a sable or a roan (as well as many other animals).
The trophy fee on sable is very reasonable in TZ.
The trick is that most outfits will want you to be on a 14 or 21 day hunt in order for them to allow the taking of a sable or roan as quota is limited and must be made the most of.
If you are interested in this give me a call. I have a 2 sable left on quota for 2016.
You best bet and value IMO is to do a 14 day leopard hunt and take lep, sable, buff and many other.

Thanks for the comments guys - we are getting ready for the season now.
These hunts will be great. The games will begin on July 1st with the first clients in camp for 2016!
I am looking forward to another adventure and I will keep everyone updated from over there.
