We are offering the following combo package as an add on to the Cape Buffalo hunt we advertised earlier in the month. One of these has already been sold, therefor we can still offer two of these.

Outfitter: Marius Goosen T/A KMG Hunting Safaris
Outfitter number: HC 04/2013 EC
PH Number: PH 16/2013 EC
Area : Limpopo

The offer includes the following:
11 Nights with 10 Full hunting Days for 1 hunter, including the following trophy animals:

1x Cape Buffalo $8550
1x Hippo Bull $4000

Day Fees: $2450

Total: $15000

The following are included in your Safari:
All accommodation, food and beverages for the duration of the Safari
Services of a licensed professional hunter, tracker and ground staff
Transport to and from the airport as well as all ground transport for the duration of the Safari
Field preparation of trophies and forwarding them to a taxidermist or shipping agent of your choice.
14% Government Tax on day rates.
Hunting License.

The following are excluded in your Safari:
Dipping, packaging or any processing of trophies
Shipping charges for your trophies to your own country.
All flights
Accommodation before and after your safari dates.

Should we complete the Buffalo/Hippo in good time, there is an option to relocate to the Eastern Cape for plains game. Return flights from Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth run about $250 per person. There will be no extra charges to day fees to relocate to the Eastern Cape. This will be included in the Buffalo/Hippo packages. Only pay for what you shoot.

Take Care,
Marius Goosen

That's a great offer Marius . Size restriction on the buff?

Johnny, it's up to 40". If we say 39, and it happens to be 41". It's your gain.

This is a good representative of the area and in line with what you can expect.

Very nice buff Marius, how big was he? How large is the farm your hunting?

Hi Johnny,
This Buff was 38,5". There are three areas where we hunt them and it ranges from 3000- 7000acres.
This is a hunt. Not a shoot.

We've run into Lions that come through the fence during the night, as well as Elephant that come through the fence on occasions, so the fences are by no means game proof.

Damn nice buff.

Just curious as to when this hunt would need to be completed by? Very nice offer and buffalo by the way. Also, any common reedbuck in the hippo area?
Thanks

For 2017 also? Hmmmm. This is interesting. That is when I'm planning to go back to Africa

We've been asked whether the animals can be split between two hunters. Yes, it is possible. Add $1500 day fees for the extra hunter.

The split will then look like this:

Hunter 1:
11 Nights, 10 Days including 1 Cape Buffalo: $10525

Hunter 2:
11 Nights, 10 Days including 1 Hippo Bull: $5975

Find yourself a friend and get over here!

Nice buff are indeed available in the area and like he sId it's a hunt not a shoot! Wish I was there right now doing this hunt!
Marius do you have a picture of the type size hippo available?

Are the hippo in the same area as the buff?

This one was taken by my business partner about three months ago. The Buff hunts are conducted in the Limpopo, and the Hippo are roughly an 1.5hr drive from there in the Mpumalanga province. They are hunted in the Crocodile river, along about 16miles of river frontage. These are free range Hippo.
This is just a magnificent area with plenty of Hippo, so finding a suitable bull is not a problem.
