All in fun, Bob. I know your feelings about 243s and just had to get a little ribbing in.

@Newboomer
I know mate I've a already put you back on my Christmas card list.
There's just something about that horrible little caliber that pissed me off. I used an old 25/303 for a while and always found it killed a lot better and at the time was a cheaper round.
It's probably because it killed off the good 25s with advertising bullshit and couldn't live up to the hype like they said and idiots using the wrong projectiles on game.
The old 25/303 like the old 250 savage came in 2 bullet weights an 87 and 100 grain and both worked on anything you shot from rabbits to deer.

I don't know where you're located, but I'd be happy to let you try out my Krieghoff. I'm located in West Tennessee and the local gun club has a skeet layout and is located not far from my farm. We're about five miles from the Kentucky state line and about 100 miles west of Nashville.
I just joined today, I live in Louisiana. I joined mostly because of all of the 35 Whelen discussion as I am now very interested In the 35 Whelen. I have an 1885 Highwall that J.E.S.S. rebored to 35 Whelen

Also own 338s 375 and both a 416 rem and Rigby
