Went out today ,and my buddy got 2 ....... 0ne was 13 plus pounds and the other was 19 and change .... really good fish for our local river !

Not sure what "Flounder gigging " is ..... but we have gone to Maryland and shot stingray with the bows

It’s when you take a boat with bright lights attached in or near the water out in shallow waters like the intracoastal waterway at night and gig flounder laying on the bottom of the waterway.

I assume it’s a regional thing since I grew up doing it and in retrospect I’ve never seen it talked about except locally.

James is really getting good at shooting big ones and little ones ...... between the 2 of us we got a dozen fish today . He got 8 and I got 4 .... he is starting to out shoot the teacher .

I really miss bowfishing. Spent a ton of time and money in my late teens and early 20's doing it. Biggest carp we ever got was 44 pounds and it was the first fish my buddy and I ever killed. We have two around that size in our fishing pond right now but they're safe.

Season closes Tuesday ...... James and I went out with a couple other Buddies (Rick & Jim ) James and I got one each ..... all total I'm sure James got over 100 fish ..I finished some where around 110 -115
