Selling off a portion of my collection to fund some other projects.
I am by no means a book “expert” so please bear with me, if you feel something is overpriced let me know. I looked briefly into each one online mostly on Abebook, eBay and worldwide hunting books to reference prices and went below all of the listed amounts I seen.
prices include shipping to the lower 48.

#1 Records of North American Big Game printed in 1990 on the Derrydale press for Boone & Crockett edited by Gray excellent condition. $30

#2 Records of North American Big Game printed in 1981 By Boone & Crockett 8th edition dust cover has tears, other than that it is good. Free with any order.

#3 Records of North American Big Game printed in 1952 by Scribners for Boone & Crockett great condition. ($275 at worldwide hunting books) $125 here.

#4 Records of Big Game printed in 1974 by Rowland Ward Publications 14th edition (Africa) great condition. $40

#5 Records of Big Game printed in 1922 by Rowland Ward 8th edition great condition considering its 102 years old ($600 and $610 on two different Websites) $400 here.

#6 Records of Big Game with their Distribution, characteristics, dimensions, weights and Horn & Tusk measurements printed in 1910 by Rowland ward 6th edition with Tiger Stripe cover signs of wear discoloration and some loose binding but still fully functional. $175

#7 Nature Library volume IV Animals printed in 1904 by Doubleday, page & company edited by Stone & Cram missing the back cover and part of the spine covering binding is surprisingly tight for 120 years just a neat book. $25

#8 The Way West - art of frontier America written by Peter Hassrick of the Buffalo Bill historical center in Cody, WY excellent condition (signed copy). $45

#9 Kazakhstan - Discover of Mystery of 2006 comes in a very cool fitted case would make an exceptional coffee table piece with excellent reference and pictures. Like new condition. Only found one previous sold listing in the UK for 150 pounds how about $115 here.

#10 North American Head Hunting printed in 1957 on the Oxford university press written by Grancel Fitz. Dust cover has small tears otherwise in good shape. $15

Thanks

About Lon's Elephant hunts w/Tokoloshe? I hear Lon is battling cancer? What is his long term prognosis? I am already booked to hunt Africa in 2024 2025. Might consider 2026 for another African hunt. I want to hunt a more wild open region devoid of civilization. Concern is the risk that I book f/2026 then find poor Lon has passed on? Does Lon have any assistance to carry on the business in his absence?

Is your 22HP still available? If so have the original case?

Hi Ian, I'm contemplating my first outing, leaving UK via Dubai to Africa, taking rifles as you did.

I presume it went okay for you, would you have done anything differently? Cheers, Richard East Sussex
