Everyone here has been very helpful to me in buying items I have offered. I have never had an issue with anyone.

So, I am going to try something that may be a bit odd.

I am offering the following books for sale. No pricing is given, you pay what you think they are worth when you get one or more.

I will ship them to you "media" to have the lowest possible shipping cost.

I trust that whoever asks for a particular book will pay what they feel is a fair price based on condition of what they get.

No strings on this.

A caveat on one book in particular - "Into the Thorns" by Wayne Grant is a seriously good book. My copy has been in a fire and has faint smoke smell and some water staining. This happened in Africa on a hunt. The story is bit ridiculous but it survived when other items did not. Can you spell "lets set the grass on fire and see what happens. Well, it did "happen". It is readable, but in no way a "collector" item or worth the prices being offer on the internet. If you get this book, take it for what it is.

The two books showing the spines are - Robert Ruark's - Use Enough Gun and a cheap reproduction of Hunting and Hunters in the Belgian Congo by RK Johnson ( a book I bought off ebay that was a fake original printing in India or somewhere similar, a good book, fun read but not worth the $50 I paid for it).

The book Journals of AJ Stone is the bio/diary of Andrew Jackson Stone, the guy who first collected Stone's Sheep for a museum and found a new species that was named for him. It is a good one if you are into sheep hunting.

Trophy Hunting in Asia by Elgin Gates is another sleeper. Gates was probably one of the most unique hunters to go to Africa and Asia. He then turned to pistol competitions and speed boat racing. He did, however, have some serious hunts in the very high mountains.

If you take one or more, I accept checks or paypal to friends or cash... whatever...
Also, don't pay me until you get them.

Andrew, I commented that your on 375 H&H for sale was the fair price.

Like I commented, my classic stainless has the original 24” barrel.

Did you buy yours with the barrel already cut down to 21” or did you do it (or a gunsmith)?
