Booked for hippo in August of 2026

After getting most of the plains game in previous trips. I was lucky enough to connect with a good buff this past August. I just booked a hippo hunt for next year. Now it's time to start building my arrows. I was 850 total arrow weight for my buff I'm thinking I'm going to build a 1,000 grain set up for the hippo.

Please do and good luck! I shot my buff with a mathews lift. 29.5 draw length. With 75lb limbs maxed out. Im not sure what it's actually drawing. For buff I used 850 grain total arrow weight 20% foc and a iron will buff 250. I'll probably use the same bow and just build a heavier arrow. What is your set up?
