Large roe deer. Excellent genetics!

I had a great hunt with Marius last year (hunting report here: Link ). He is a true professional and I really recommend hunting with him. If you want more details, feel free to PM me.

In which area of Romania are you operating for Roebucks?

I have 2 areas for big roebucks, both of them are located in Transylvania. One next to Cluj-Napoca and second is close to Targu-Mures. Best areal for big roebucks! There you can see every day of hunting minimum 25-30 males. And is a good place to see bears on the fields in May.

That is quite the roe buck in the first picture, wow!

Out of curiosity, saw trophy fees are based on antler weight. What is the process for obtaining the weight. Noticed a picture of an antler still attached to the skull laying on a scale. Does anyone have a link to the process or a link for a video demonstrating the procedure. Would be very informative and interesting to watch.

Can this hunt be done in September of this year (2023)?
Yes. Before 15 of September, because after we start our red stag season and we are very busy.

Also forgot to ask, would it be possible to add a Fallow deer and boar during the hunt?

Closest airport is Cluj-Napoca ( CLJ).
Yes, wild boar is possible with good chances. Fallow stag only late September we start the season.

Very nice trophy!

Waidmannsheil!

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
