Oh man @PaulB, you one are one lucky man, with so many beautiful rifles, and an understanding and supporting wife. Congratulations, and please keep sharing pictures of your beautiful rifles.

BTW, not sure if you posted this somewhere else or not. But how did you get "hooked" on searching and collecting these beautiful rifles. I know it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the beauty in these rifles, but there has to be something deeper that motivated you to do what you are doing. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is curious about it. So, I'm basically asking for a little bit of @PaulB history.

Africa was what first pulled me into the world of British firearms. Being there, seeing the culture, the landscapes, and hearing the stories of the old safaris gave these rifles a meaning far beyond steel and walnut. Then came the history — each gun tied to another era, another hunter, another journey. What truly keeps me fascinated are the stories and the men who carried them before us; men who depended on these rifles in places and situations most of us can hardly imagine today. But a big part of it is also the chase — the anticipation of what rifle might appear next, tucked away in some far-off place, forgotten in a cabinet or hidden in an old collection. Every gun feels like a treasure hunt with history attached to it. Somewhere along the way, I became completely addicted to the pursuit, the stories, and the feeling that each rifle still has a soul of its own.
