Yes mate it is a dingo, a good size mature dog.

Its a 35 whelen, I have heard they have a small following amongst the sambar hunters.

I only know of one fella personally that uses one for sambar but I do know a few others that used to own/use a 35W.
They are well regarded by ther owners.
My own 35 cal is the .358 Norma mag,same hole but far different beast.

A good variety mate. We may not have the DG of other places but we are blessed with a,good variety and few limiting seasons.
Good hunting mate. I look forward to reading the hunts the kids do.
