Some pics of a recent outback pig hunt. Beautiful part of the world.
It is a beautiful part of the world.
We have a magnificent country! Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos.
And, that is a hell of a boar! What’s the rifle / cartridge? Can you tell us more about the adventure?
Congrats on a grand adventure!
That's just my work horse rifle, sako A7 in 30-06. Mind you after the amount of that fine dust that works its way into every mecahanical nook and cranny I don't think I'll take it again. You'll have to forgive a deer hunting southerner like me, never been north into the outback as far as that before so didn't know what to expect. On that note, never seen a pig prior to this trip either!
I was going to do a write up but haven't had the time so thought I'd share a few pics.
Thanks for sharing, more pics would be appreciated
Great photos JP. The outback hasn’t seen too many rain clouds like that until last weekend.
A decent size Boar my mate shot in the Northern Territory, my mate is 130 kg's.
