no this is not correct. Firearms legislation is state based. NSW has changed its laws so that non citizens can not be granted firearms licenses whilst permanently residing in Australia. All foreign hunters are granted international visitor licenses for the purpose of visiting Australia for sport shooting competitions or hunting safaris. International Visitor Licenses remain unchanged and in the Northern Territory where we operate all firearms laws remain unchanged. If you are not bringing a gun and using our firearms you do not even need an international visitor licence and are able to use firearms under any of our guides supervision. Australia is still open for business! Merry xmas

No problem my friend unfortunately we have a disease here in Australia the same disease that you guys are dealing with in America its called leftist ideology! The disease is just 20 years more evolved here in Australia. One day sometime soon the world will turn full circle! Until then us outdoorsman and good men and women need to stick together! As for non firearms owners these maniacs won't stop at gun reform they will keep attacking and eating away at our outdoors past times including fishing, fourwheel driving camping etc! Our role as outdoorsman is not just take our kids or grandkids hunting but take their friends as well! We need to get more people and more voters involved in this great pastime of ours! @BIG COUNTRY SAFARIS AUSTRALIA, thank you for posting such a 'trigger rich' offer! When I hunted the Northern Territory, back in 2001, some guy came into the camp I was in, he had flown over to just hunt donkeys, in 3 days he took 39 donkeys.

How far from Darwin is it to your hunting camp for this buffalo hunt?

There is no shortage of donkeys in some areas. Did you hunt with Bob Penfold? We have 6 different concessions. The desert concession for camels is 10 hours drive from Darwin. Banteng camp 6 hours. We have four different buffalo concessions in Arnhmem Land ranging from 5 hour to 9 hours drive from Darwin all of which we can do this hunt on. A group of gentleman from Heym rifles shot 52 donkeys in a day and 45 buffalo in a day and half with us last year. The barrells were hot! Merry xmas mate
