Caza & Safaris Argentina Patagonia Red stag in the mountains
This is our hunting program for the Patagonia region, which comprehends our area in Bariloche/San Martin de los Andes, in Rio Negro Province.
At this area we find some of the finest free ranging stags of the country of international appreciated quality and interest.
Our operation has been running for the last 40+ years, always directed and owned by Mr. Jorge Noya, very reputable outfitter with many years, more than 40 actually, hunting in South America also Africa, on very demanding hunts. We are members of SCI since 1982. We are very well known for Big Game hunts, so we started guiding our clients and friends into this rich hunting and scenery destination from the beginning. We own 1 lodge and lease a number of properties around the area, for taking extreme care of any of our hunters wish who invests his time for something that has and needs to be unforgettable, and we are aware of that.
The hunting area is located in the middle of the mountain, where the Red Deer possesses his domains. Totally wild and primitive, the environment reproduces for the hunter the adventure of the first colonization of the territory.
The Cordillera de los Andes, is the youngest mountain chain in the world. Their sharp picks surrounded by dark and thick green vegetation where the deer takes refuge and it is developed to his leisure without interferences of the civilization noises. The animals are grown up strong and big, there are in abundance in this area. These can only be stalked mounting on horse. The Patagonia is not a populated area, where the man's hand has not still interfered with the nature.
Bariloche is the better known and old city of the area. Their architecture is mainly European although lately some have been built big they have been built center of the city. The second area in importance is San Martin de los Andes, that it is smaller but more exclusive and it is located inside San Martin de los Andes National Park.
Horses are precious like water down in this place, as the hunting is mostly performed with them, long ranges will have to be covered on their back. Shooting range might be between 200-350yds. We have very well trained-specialized horses, used to this tough work at the mountains. Without them there is no way we can guarantee success of the hunts during the rut, from March 1st until May 15th. This Safari is very authentic providing pure adrenaline hunts in a beautiful pictures and scenery, hunting a virgin and wide open area.
