ARGENTINA: Epic Argentina Hunt

On a related subject, Doctor @juan pablo pozzi is also a very reputable professional hunting outfitters in Argentina. He used to be close friends with the late Don Heath (also known as "Ganyana").
Thank you for the compliments. On the Ganyana subject, he encouraged me to write up my first elephant hunt for African Hunter magazine many years ago. We conversed on a variety of subjects and I really respected his experience and wisdom. I didn't know he was friends with @juan pablo pozzi. Fantastic.

@Green Chile , thanks for taking us on this ride - that was an exceptional report covering as you said, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Enjoyed it immensely and felt like I was right there with you on the close encounter, wondering how inadequate you must have felt at that very moment without one of your doubles by your side! Well done Sir!

Very nice report, well written and great trophies. Wmh!

Thank you. The last couple of years I have been trying to write a hunt report on any of the major trips I take. I've decided the hunt isn't really over until I have posted lessons learned, etc. I'm always a little melancholy after the hunts are over but this allows them to last a few more days and hopefully others can enjoy and learn from them.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris
