Left hand 375 H&H do exist, but are few and far between. On the other hand, the 375 Ruger is very available, more economical and ballistically equivalent to its older H&H cousin. Rugers aren’t glamorous, but they are solid, well built and reliable rifles.

A person must constantly watch the auction sites and other gun sale websites. I just purchased a Sako AV LH 375H&H with scope, mounts, 6 boxes of ammo (boxes marked $37.50 for 300 gr Federal) and hard side case. I found it and bought it rather quickly. You will have to do the same. I am on the search for others.

I have also considered a custom left hand. $5000-$12000 depending on where you go.

Best bet is a 375 Ruger. Many folks on this forum and others explain how they bedded and added weight to improve performance.

The left handed .375hh I was looking for was for a friend of mine that will be going to Africa in 2027 with me, he called and told me he bought a .375 ruger today. I was hoping he would get a HH that way if our ammo got lost on the way we would have back up. But at least he found a gun

Almost double what I paid for one a year or so ago. I’ve seen a couple go for that or close to that the last 6 months or so. Glad I got the ones I have when I did.

Bought one from this forum this year. Classifieds sort by “left hand”, guns America and cabelas used guns are all good. Also look under the “gun deals” thread in the deals category. They are out there you just gotta be quicker than me.

Yea, tough to find them at a decent price. Gotta just keep looking. Like others have said….the Ruger ain’t pretty but it’s built like a tank and the price is right.
